- IDT is an independent lab with no financial interest in promoting or selling any articles. All certification requests whether in-lab or via mobile lab, require advance payment. Full payment is mandatory upon completion of certification, regardless of the report outcome.
- The client has submitted the article(s) for an independent report and authorizes IDT to release them to anyone presenting this receipt.
- The client acknowledges that opinions may vary as to the characteristics covered in the report(s) issued and IDT is not liable for discrepancies arising from other grading methods.
- IDT results may vary over time due to updates in techniques or equipment. The report is issued at the client’s request and does not imply any commitment to buy or replace the article.
- This report is neither an appraisal nor a guarantee. If the client or any party makes a claim for damage to the article(s) or loss related to the report, IDT’s liability will not exceed the fee paid for the report.
- IDT is not liable for any damage to the article(s) during repair. The client agrees not to misuse IDT’s trade name, trademark, or service mark, as determined by IDT.
- If articles are submitted for gold hallmarking, the client authorizes IDT to send them outside its labs at the client’s sole risk. IDT is not responsible for any loss, theft, damage, or the outcome of the hallmarking, which is done by an authorized agency on the client’s behalf.
- The depositor agrees to abide by IDT’s rules and regulations.
